Ben Diercks has over 16 years of work experience in various roles. Ben started their career in 2003 as an Assistant Utility Rep at EDI, Inc. In 2004, they worked as a Temp Employee at Professional Staffing Group, and in 2005, they worked as a Temp Employee at Accountemps. From 2005 to 2014, they held roles at City Sports, Inc., starting as an Accounting Assistant and then transitioning to an HR Generalist. In 2014, they joined Veterans Transportation Services as a Human Resources Manager and later became the Director of Human Resources in 2019. Ben also served as the Treasurer at Emmanuel Covenant Church from 2008 to 2009.

Ben Diercks attended DePaul University from 1999 to 2002, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Commerce.
