Merja Laitinen is a highly experienced radiologist currently working at VetCT since 2017. Previously, Merja served as a radiologist at IDEXX Laboratories from February 2015 to December 2016 and held the position of clinician teacher at the University of Helsinki from September 2004 to April 2015. In this educational role, Merja taught veterinary students and interns in diagnostic imaging and conducted clinical work in various imaging modalities. Merja also engaged in research related to diagnostic imaging and completed a PhD in Veterinary Sciences at the University of Helsinki. Merja completed residency training in veterinary diagnostic imaging at several prestigious institutions, earning the Dip ECVDI designation from the European College of Veterinary Diagnostic Imaging. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree and specialization in Small Animal Internal Medicine from the University of Helsinki.
