Martin Samdal is a Consultant Anaesthesiologist and HEMS physician at Vestre Viken HF since March 2017, with responsibilities in the Department of Anaesthesia, ICU and operation, as well as the air ambulance department. In addition to this role, Martin serves as an Emergency Doc for Norges Fotballforbund and previously worked as a Ph.D.-candidate with Stiftelsen Norsk Luftambulanse, focusing on trauma care in south-east Norway. Martin has also practiced as a Pediatrician at Oslo University Hospital and held multiple registrar positions in anaesthesia. Early career experiences include internships and medical practice in various healthcare settings, alongside work as a paramedic and consultant in business services. Martin holds a PhD in Prehospital Critical Care and multiple degrees in Medicine, Law, and International Finance from esteemed institutions.
