Sonja Thomsen has extensive experience in internal communication and project management, currently serving as the Internal Communication Manager at Marel since November 2019. Prior to this role, Sonja was an Executive Communication Advisor at Nordea, where strategic initiatives were implemented across three IT business units. Sonja's background also includes significant contributions as the Group Service Development Manager at Berendsen, where Sonja managed communication strategy, corporate PR, and developed customer engagement initiatives. Earlier positions involved project management in communication and research roles, including leadership in international conferences and investigations related to poverty reduction in Nicaragua. Sonja holds a Cand.merc.int in Development Studies and International Business Strategy, along with a B.Sc in Business Administration and Modern Languages from Copenhagen Business School.
