Dawn Calibeo, PhD has a diverse work experience spanning from 2000 to the present. Starting as a Graduate Research Assistant at North Carolina State University, they assessed vector competency in commercial turkey production. Dawn then worked as an Entomologist/Technical Specialist at Home Paramount Pest Control before moving on to roles at BASF, including Biology Project Manager and Global Strategic Marketing Manager. Dawn also held positions at the University of Florida, Gowan Company as Global Marketing Manager and Global Pre-Commercial Development Manager, and currently serves as Vice President, Field Development at Vestaron Corporation.

Dawn Calibeo, PhD, holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Entomology from the University of Florida. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree in Medical and Veterinary Entomology from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor's degree in Entomology from the University of Florida. In 2020, they also obtained a certification in Strategic Thinking from LinkedIn.
