Kathy Dang Aboubakare, RN, BSN has been in the healthcare industry since 2015. Kathy began their career as a Medical Receptionist at AMD IPA, Inc./Healthcare System 2000s, where they were responsible for verifying multiple health insurance and providing telephonic advisory line to geriatric population. In 2019, they took on the role of RN Case Manager Preceptorship at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, where they managed 4 different clinic phone calls and telehealth updates/advice within the Specialty Care Clinic. Later in the same year, they joined MemorialCare Orange Coast Medical Center as an Emergency Room Nurse, where they performed multi-task medical skills and triaged/screened the appropriate level of care to patients who present with symptoms of COVID. In 2019, they also started working at United Surgical Partners International, Inc. as an Ambulatory Care Nurse - Pre-Op/PACU, where they worked under high-stress environment in preparation for routine GI procedures and specialized eye surgeries. In 2021, they took on roles as a Nurse Case Manager at Vesta Healthcare and a Clinic Registered Nurse (RN level III) at Sameday Health. In their role at Vesta Healthcare, Kathy was responsible for receiving clinical calls and triaging, while at Sameday Health, they performed Nasal Mid-Turbinate (NMT) swabs for RT-PCR, administered vitamin shots and IV hydration.

Kathy Dang Aboubakare, RN, BSN has an extensive educational background. Kathy obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from California State University, Long Beach in 2019. Prior to that, they obtained their Associate's Degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Golden West College in 2018. In addition to their degrees, they have obtained several certifications, including Child Abuse Pediatrics from the Center for Education Development in 2020, Infection Control Training for Healthcare Professionals in New York State from Advantedge Healthcare Solutions in 2020, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association in 2020, Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) from the American Heart Association in 2020, Registered Nurse - CA & NY licensure from the California Board of Registered Nursing in 2020, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association in 2019, and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) from STROKE SUPPORT ASSOCIATION in 2019.
