Michael Clancy is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the aerospace and marine industries. Currently serving as the Director of Vessel Controls at Vessev since January 2025, Michael's prior roles include Flight Software & GNC Manager, Acting Director of GNC, and Flight Software Team Lead at Rocket Lab from August 2020 to December 2024. Michael has also held the position of Product Engineering Lead at Integrated Control Technology and various technical roles at Navico, including Technical/Team Lead, Technical Lead, and Software Engineer, from August 2007 to May 2019. Michael began the career as an R&D Engineer at Electronic Navigation Ltd from July 2005 to November 2006. Michael holds a Bachelor of Engineering with First Class Honours in Electrical and Electronic from Auckland University of Technology, completed in 2005.
