Michael Amaonye is a Senior Research Associate, Editing and Discovery at Verve. Prior to joining Verve, Mr. Amaonye gained experience as an undergraduate researcher studying gene therapy as a novel treatment for Duchenne muscular dystrophy and as a technical assistant at the University of Missouri-Columbia Life Sciences Center. He has diverse expertise in engineering and process validation protocols, as well as proficiency in multiple coding languages. Mr. Amaonye received his B.S. in biomechanical engineering and biomedical engineering from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
