Zachary Lippay has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Zachary is currently employed as a Research Engineer - Controls Systems at Verus® Research since May 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Kentucky from June 2016 to May 2022.

Zachary also worked as an Engineering Consultant - Energy Audits at the University of Kentucky IAC from November 2014 to June 2016, and as an Engineering Co-Op at GE Lighting from June 2014 to May 2016.

Zachary has experience as an Undergraduate Researcher at the University of Kentucky from August 2014 to December 2015, where they focused on image processing, particle tracking, and DOE.

Additionally, they have worked as a Peer Tutor and Peer Academic Coach at the University of Kentucky from June 2013 to May 2014, providing academic support. Zachary also served as an Intern at Encompass DDC from May 2013 to January 2014, where they gained experience in IT design and installation, as well as construction management.

Zachary Lippay's education history includes a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Kentucky. Zachary attended the university from 2011 to 2016. Later, from 2016 to 2021, they pursued a Ph.D. in Engineering at the same institution, specializing in UAS (Unmanned Aircraft Systems), Cooperative Control, and Embedded Systems.
