Michel Ishakian has over 25 years of professional experience. From 2018 to present, they have served as the Director of VertX Enterprise Solutions, LLC. From 2001 to 2018, they held various positions at US Courts, including Chief of Staff of the Department of Program Services, Chief of the Public Access and Records Management Division, and Deputy Chief of IT Policy and Budget. From 1997 to 2001, they were a Deputy Division Manager and Management Consultant at EDS. From 1995 to 1997, they were a Foreign Service Officer at the US Department of State. From 1993 to 1995, they were a Program Coordinator at the US Department of Defense. Finally, from 1990 to 1993, they were an Auditor at Marriott International.

Michel Ishakian obtained their Bachelor of Arts degree from the University at Buffalo in 1988. Michel then went on to earn their Master of Science degree from Georgetown University in 1990.
