Iain McDonald is an accomplished automotive professional with extensive experience in management and sales. Currently serving as General Manager at Vertu Motors plc since January 2022, Iain previously held the position of Store Manager at Tesla from June 2017 to December 2021, where notable achievements included transforming a leaderless team into a high-performing group that achieved top sales in Western Europe. Prior to Tesla, Iain worked as General Sales Manager at Wessex Garages, promoting team cohesion and enhancing customer experience through effective marketing initiatives. Earlier roles include Senior Sales Executive at Chippenham Motor Company and Sales Executive and Trainee at Swindon Audi, where foundational skills in sales and customer service were developed. Iain holds an HND in Sports Coaching from the University of Wolverhampton.
