Solange DA SILVA PINTO is currently a Medicinal Chemistry Research Scientist at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, a position held since September 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a JSPS Postdoctoral Fellow at Kyoto University from July 2021 to July 2022, where Solange collaborated with Professor Yoshiaki Nakao. At the University of Oxford, from April 2020 to July 2021, Solange worked as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant in the Schofield group and previously held the same title in the Russell group from October 2015 to January 2020, after completing a PhD in Organic Chemistry at the university. Additional experience includes working as a Research Scientist at Apex Molecular Ltd and research internships at Firmenich and Société de Production Pharmaceutique et d'Hygiène. Education includes a degree from Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie de Montpellier and foundational studies at Lycée CARNOT in Dijon.
