Caitlin Davies is a Research Scientist specializing in Medicinal Chemistry at Vertex Pharmaceuticals since January 2023. Caitlin completed a PhD in Chemistry and Chemical Biology at the Max Planck Institute of Molecular Physiology, where studies were conducted from October 2018 to July 2022 under the supervision of a Professor. Prior experience includes a graduate internship in Chemistry R&D at Syngenta, focusing on method development for cross coupling of chloro-oximes and synthesis of fungicides, as well as an internship at Roche in Pharma Research and Early Development. Caitlin also gained early laboratory experience as a Laboratory Assistant at Caswell Adhesives Ltd. Education credentials comprise an MChem in Chemistry from the University of Leeds and A-levels from The Kingswood School.
