Jonathan Makolo is an experienced professional in product management and software engineering, currently serving as a Product Manager at VERTEX GROUP since March 2019. Responsibilities include developing product strategies, conducting market research, and creating product roadmaps. Prior experience includes roles as a Software Engineer, where Jonathan gained expertise in programming languages such as Python, React, and TypeScript, and as a Startup Project Manager consultant at Kobo Hub, offering mentorship to early-stage startups. Additional experience includes tutoring in information systems and software development at the University of Johannesburg and working as a Junior Software Engineer at Bridge Labs. Jonathan holds a degree in Applied Information Systems and is currently pursuing an Honors degree in IT Management from the University of Johannesburg.
