Eric K. is an accomplished IT professional with extensive experience in cyber security and operations management. Since July 2021, Eric has served as the Cyber Security & Operations Manager at Vertex Energy Inc. Prior to this role, Eric was a Security Analyst at Ford Motor Company and a Senior Systems Analyst at Lawrence Technological University. Eric has also held positions as IT Security Manager and IT Administrator at Severstal NA and has a rich background in network administration and systems analysis from previous roles at companies such as LG Chem Power, Inc., Medical Weight Loss Clinic, and Noble Metal Processing. An academic advisory board member for the CIS Department at Baker College of Clinton Township, Eric contributes to curriculum development to enhance student preparedness for the job market. Eric holds a Master’s and Bachelor's degree in Information Systems and IT Security from Baker College, along with an Associate degree in Computer Networking.
