Kent Hollrah is a seasoned design professional currently serving as a Principal Product Designer at Vertafore since April 2024. Co-founding Valid Evaluation, Inc. in January 2011, Kent has held multiple roles including Board Director and Director of Design, where contributions include creating a SaaS platform for business grant proposals for clients such as the US Department of Defense. Prior experience encompasses founding SIMPLE & STOUT, and serving as Principal UX Designer at Cricut, leading significant redesigns and user research initiatives. Kent has also held leadership roles in other companies including Four Winds Interactive and MapQuest, with a focus on enhancing user experience and product design. Academic background includes a Master's degree from New York University and a Bachelor's degree from Northwestern University, complemented by teaching roles in design at local institutions. Kent's work has been recognized with awards, including two Stevie® Awards for excellence in business.
