Sven Hammar is currently a Board Member at Versasec. Sven has held this position since March 2018.

Prior to their current role, Sven served as the Chief Product Officer at Apica Systems from January 2005 to November 2016. In this role, they were responsible for leading the funding of the company and extensive experience in negotiating and working with both VC and financial institutions.

Before their time at Apica Systems, Sven served as the VP Marketing at Gemplus from January 2000 to January 2002. In this role, they were responsible for leading the world wide marketing function, covering products such as smart cards, readers, and software. Sven also focused on markets such as banking, government/ID card, retail/loyalty, and transportation. Additionally, Sven was tasked with developing a reporting and organization structure for the new team (56), as well as leading the market launch of a new generation of Gemplus security solutions/products for banking and PC-OEM.

Sven also has experience with organizational restructuring and major downsizing of the organization from their time as the Chief Executive Officer at Infrasec from February 2022 to August 2022.

Sven has a wealth of experience in the business world and has proven himself to be a successful leader in various roles.

Sven Hammar has a Masters in Industrial Economics from Linköping University, and a 4 year degree in Electrical Engineering from Åsö Gymnasium.
