Tatsuo Satoh has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Most recently, they worked as the Operations Director at Versameb AG starting in April 2019. Prior to that, from July 2018 to March 2019, they served as the Head of BD & Communication at PIQUR Therapeutics AG. From January 2015 to June 2018, they held the position of Head of IT & Communications at the same company. Before joining PIQUR Therapeutics AG, Tatsuo worked as a freelancer from August 2011 to June 2013, providing consulting, web development, and communication and project management services. Tatsuo also took a sabbatical from March 2011 to July 2011. Tatsuo has a background in managing associations since they worked as the Managing Director of ACCESS! Association from January 2007 to February 2011. Additionally, they co-founded CheckOrphan in October 2007, serving as a Member of the Board until January 2011. Tatsuo also held the position of Head of Web Strategy at BioValley.ch/.com from April 2006 to January 2011. Tatsuo co-founded e-lang in July 2006 and served as Project Manager (Freelance) at MCH Swiss Exhibition Ltd. from September 2007 to January 2008. Finally, Tatsuo worked as a Project Manager at BioValley.com from April 2007 to November 2007.

Tatsuo Satoh has a diverse education history. In 1994, they began studying at the University of Basel and obtained a Master of Science degree in Biology in the year 2000. Following this, from 2002 to 2006, they pursued a PhD in Molecular Microbiology at the Biozentrum of the Universität Basel, although the degree remains unfinished. In 2016, they briefly attended the HWZ University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration Zurich, where they completed a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Business/Corporate Communications.
