Monil Patel has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering. Monil started their career at Cyberoam in July 2011, where they worked as a software engineer until June 2015. At Cyberoam, they gained valuable experience in software development.

In June 2015, Monil joined Versa Networks as a software engineer, where they worked in a platform team responsible for maintaining network control and data path in userspace. Monil contributed to the development of the company's networking solutions. In November 2020, they were promoted to the role of Lead Engineer, demonstrating their expertise and leadership skills. Currently, Monil holds the position of Staff Engineer at Versa Networks, starting in August 2022.

Monil Patel obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Engineering from Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidyalaya. Monil attended the institute from 2007 to 2011.
