Charles Carpenter is a seasoned professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Commercial Integrated Energy Services Lead at Vermont Gas Systems, Inc. since April 2022. Prior to this role, Charles spent a decade at VEIC as an Energy Consultant focused on new construction energy analysis. Charles also gained experience as an Energy Associate at the Vermont Department of Environmental Conservation, where inspections of dams were conducted, and as a Civil Engineering Technical Apprentice at VTrans, documenting roadway conditions. Early in the career, Charles worked as a Production Technician at NRG Systems, Inc., involved in the assembly and calibration of electronic sensors. Charles holds a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Vermont and is pursuing further education at The University of Western Australia.
