David Hill possesses extensive experience in energy management and policy planning, currently serving as the Distributed Resources Director and Policy Fellow at the Vermont Energy Investment Corporation since 1998. Prior to this role, David held the position of Research Associate at the Tellus Institute from 1993 to 1998 and was a Ph.D. student at the University of Pennsylvania from 1987 to 1992. David's career began with the Peace Corps, where significant contributions were made as an Education Volunteer in Busu, Sierra Leone, focusing on education and community development initiatives. Academically, David earned a Ph.D. in Energy Management and Policy Planning from the University of Pennsylvania, following a Master's degree in International Development and Appropriate Technology from the same institution, and a Bachelor of Arts in Geography and Political Science from Middlebury College.
