Cary Brown is an experienced leader in women's advocacy and education, currently serving as the Executive Director of the Vermont Commission on Women since October 2012. Previous roles include Internship Coordinator at Norwich University from 2008 to 2012, Interim Executive Director at Turtle Island Children's Center from September 2006 to August 2007, and Director of Girls' Programs at Vermont Works for Women from February 2002 to August 2006. Additionally, Cary held the position of Director of the Women in Technology Project at Vermont Technical College from January 1997 to February 2002. Cary holds a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from Haverford College (1985-1989) and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Norwich University (2009-2010).
