Sayil Medina is an experienced human resources professional currently serving in the People department at Verkada since August 2023. Previously, Sayil held the position of Director of People at Skybox Security from October 2020 to April 2022. At Sumo Logic, from February 2011 to September 2020, Sayil advanced through various roles, culminating as Global Manager for HR - Total Rewards & Employee Engagement, where notable contributions included managing global organization capability planning and leading merit cycles for awards. In earlier roles at Sumo Logic, Sayil migrated the company out of a PEO, expanded the HR team, and built foundational structures to support organizational scaling. Sayil holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Affairs from Tecnológico de Monterrey.
