Pramod Patel is an experienced Software Engineer and technology leader, currently employed at Verkada to develop a large cloud-based B2B physical security system since August 2022. As a Co-Founder, CTO, and Software Engineer at PeersNet, Inc. since March 2006, Pramod has helped small businesses and non-profits establish online presences and manage digital communities. Previous roles include architecting AI-based IoT platforms at Caspar.AI (December 2018 - August 2022), software engineering for Alarm.com following its acquisition of Icontrol Networks (April 2017 - December 2018), and IoT technology consulting at Icontrol Networks (August 2010 - December 2018). Additional experience includes positions at Vendavo, Teradata, Amdocs, Nortel Networks, and various consulting roles early in the career, with a foundational education in Computer Engineering from the University of Mumbai (1989 - 1993).
