Venkatesh Konanur is a Principal Engineer at Verizon since February 2020, previously serving as a Senior Engineer in Applied Research. Prior to Verizon, Venkatesh worked at Lux Research from July 2017 to January 2020 as a Senior Research Associate and Research Associate, focusing on industrial IoT and sensor innovations. Responsibilities included tracking technology advancements, authoring research for various stakeholders, and networking at industry conferences. Venkatesh's earlier experience includes roles as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, conducting site audits, and as a Student Researcher at the Advanced Composite Research Center, developing and testing materials. Venkatesh holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a Bachelor's in Engineering from PESIT, Bangalore.
