Mehar B. is a Private Equity Associate at Veritas Capital since August 2024, previously serving as an Investment Banking Analyst at Evercore from April 2022 to August 2024, focusing on mergers and acquisitions. Prior to this, Mehar worked as a Research Associate at the R Street Institute under Dr. Ashley Nunes, researching competition policy, and participated in the Future Leaders Program at Oaktree Capital Management, selected as one of 100 attendees for a credit investing training session. Early experiences include roles as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, researching economic impacts of autonomous taxis, and as a Campus Ambassador for the Forte Foundation. Mehar also interned at Deutsche Bank in leveraged finance and served as an Investment Intern at the Wellesley College Investment Office. Mehar holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics with a minor in Computer Science from Wellesley College and has educational experience at MIT Sloan School of Management.
