Ed Marsden is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the healthcare sector. As the founder of Verita since March 2002, Ed has led the independent management consultancy in providing expert advice to regulated organizations in the UK, enhancing workplace effectiveness. In January 2019, Ed co-founded Eva Applications, focusing on innovative Microsoft technology aimed at reducing avoidable patient harm in healthcare. Previous roles include Director of Performance Management at West Kent Health Authority and Locality Manager at Kent Family Health Services Authority, as well as a professional adviser in the Health Division of the UK National Audit Office. Ed holds a Master’s degree in Government from the University of Essex and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Philosophy from Aberystwyth University, along with nursing qualifications from the NHS - Princess Alexandra School of Nursing.
