James Sinclair is the current Director of Business & Human Rights at Verisk Maplecroft, a global risk intelligence company. Prior to this role, James was the Managing Partner at Ethical Innovations where he provided ESG and business & human rights advisory services. He also founded the Fair Labour Alliance, a labour rights focused NGO. Before that, James was the Managing Partner at Lincoln Associates FZE, a boutique legal consultancy practice. He co-founded FSI Worldwide, a fair labour organisation, where he served as the Co-Founder and General Counsel. James also has experience as a Barrister at Voisin and 10-11 Gray's Inn Square. He holds a Ph.D. in International Human Rights Law and Political Economy, an MA in International Relations, and degrees in Law and Philosophy, Politics, Economics.
