Suraj Goel is a Data Engineer with experience at Verisk since February 2023 and previously in a similar role at Verisk from June to August 2022, where significant contributions included the development of a PySpark tool for dataset key matching and a pipeline for generating insights. Suraj has also served as a Graduate Assistant at Oklahoma State University from August to December 2022, supporting the Program Director of Business Analytics & Data Science, and as a Graduate Research Assistant from January to May 2022, focusing on data collection and visualization. Prior to academia, Suraj worked at Yamaha Motor Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. from January 2019 to July 2021 as a Software Engineer, involved in programming and simulation of AGV robots, and was an Intern at Tata Consultancy Services where an Android application for customer service was developed. Suraj holds a Master's degree in Business Analytics & Data Science from Oklahoma State University and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from SRM IST Chennai.
