Kevin Vasconcellos has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Kevin began their career in 1993 as a Design Engineer at Recording & Music Group, where they were involved in the development of digital filters and the design of PLDs. In 1996, they joined Rockwell Collins, Inc. as a Design Engineer, specializing in FPGA development and contributing to the ASIC process working group. At Synopsys, Inc., where they worked from 2000 to 2005, Kevin took on the roles of Senior R&D Engineer and Senior Consultant. During this time, they implemented RVM-based verification environments for multiple PCI Express IP cores and optimized DC scripts and constraints. At Stexar, Kevin served as a Verification Engineer, leading the SOC verification team and implementing a verification environment for a Digital Television SOC with a custom x86 processor. Finally, at Intel, they worked as a Verification/Validation Engineer from 2006 to 2015. Overall, Kevin's work experience demonstrates their expertise in digital design, verification, and FPGA development.
Kevin Vasconcellos completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 1988 to 1992. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at the same institution from 1992 to 1996.
