Yolanda Sam has held a variety of roles in the technology industry. Yolanda began their career in 2011 as a Mechatronics Engineer at BHP Billiton. In 2012, they moved to SA Power Networks, where they held the same role. In 2016, they joined Boral as a Business Systems Analyst and Scrum Master. In 2018, they co-founded the Artificial Intelligence Collaborative Network (AICN) and served as a Producer. In 2019, they moved to the City of Hobart, where they held the roles of Principal Advisor Knowledge and Information Management and Enterprise Information Analyst. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Verida as a Web3 Delivery Manager.
Yolanda Sam has an extensive educational background. Yolanda obtained a Bachelor of Finance - BFin from the University of Adelaide between 2011 and 2015. Yolanda also obtained a Bachelor of Engineering - BE in Mechatronics (Honours) from the University of Adelaide between 2009 and 2014. In 2019, they completed a MicroMasters from the Georgia Institute of Technology in Analytics. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications from various institutions, including Enterprise Data Management from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business in 2020, Data Analytics for Business from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2020, CSE6040x: SP20: Computing for Data Analysis from edX in 2020, Computing for Data Analysis from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2020, Introduction to Analytics Modeling from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2019, and Professional Scrum Master from ALC Training in 2018.
