Dave Conrad is a seasoned professional in the field of biomedical manufacturing with extensive experience at Vericel Corporation and its predecessor, Genzyme Biosurgery. Currently serving as Lead of MACI Manufacturing since August 2017, Dave oversees the autologous tissue culture of human chondrocytes and keratinocytes in a GMP-certified environment, ensuring compliance with all safety and procedural requirements while providing leadership to manufacturing teams. Prior roles include Senior Manufacturing Associate and Manufacturing Associate, where Dave demonstrated expertise in managing production schedules, investigating process deviations, and maintaining primary cultures. Dave holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Laboratory and Clinical Sciences from Boston University and a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Boston College.
