Fielding is the founding partner who led CAPTRUST, a Raleigh-based firm, from an entrepreneurial start-up into one of the nation’s largest independent financial advisory firms. Working with institutional and private clients since 1986, CAPTRUST has more than 1,000 colleagues in 48 locations throughout the U.S. and currently advises on more than $600 billion of client assets. Fielding remains active in all aspects of the business and chairs the Board of Directors and the Operating Committee.

Fielding is well known as a pioneer in the financial services industry and has been recognized for his innovation, entrepreneurship, and leadership on multiple occasions.
