Hille Takken is an experienced communications professional and freelance journalist, currently serving as the product owner for the press information department at Milieudefensie since May 2021. With a journalism degree from the School voor Journalistiek, Hille has contributed to NRC Handelsblad, Oneworld, and Prikkels since 1994 as a freelance journalist. Additional roles include co-authoring a book featuring interviews with climate activists for "Eerste Hulp bij Klimaatverandering," founding the Inspirerende Teksten Academie, and serving in various press and communications capacities for organizations such as UNICEF Nederland, Warme Truiendag, and ARTIS. Through a diverse career spanning over two decades, Hille has developed expertise in media relations, storytelling, and content creation, with a strong focus on environmental and social issues.
