Aleksandra Jovanovic is an experienced professional with expertise in sustainability and food systems. Currently serving as Project Officer for Food System Networks, Innovations & Education at SUSMETRO, Aleksandra also works as a freelancer in the green/sustainability sector, focusing on community gardens in Rotterdam through GroenGoed. As an Event Organizer for Regeneratie Coöperatie, Aleksandra coordinates events promoting environmental and social equity. In various roles at Milieudefensie, including Regio Coördinator & Jongerencoach, Aleksandra facilitates green traineeships for youth centered on climate justice. Prior experiences include co-founding UPEACE Green Office, interning at Dutch Research Institute for Transitions and Impact Hub Amsterdam, and holding a communications coordinator position at Leiden University Green Office.
