Tammy Cardona-Zambeis is a dedicated professional with experience in behavioral therapy, research, and community organizing. Currently serving as a Behavioral Therapist at Verdugo Hills Autism Project since April 2023, Tammy works with individuals on the autism spectrum and other neurodivergent diagnoses in home and school settings. As a Research Assistant at the LABOR COMMUNITY STRATEGY CENTER since 2021, Tammy contributes to efforts promoting racial and climate justice. In addition, Tammy has been a Community Organizer and holds experience as a Respite Caregiver and in various roles including Research Assistant at California State University, Northridge, and Member of JusticeCorps Los Angeles. Previous experience includes working as an Automotive Claims Adjuster at GEICO and an Implementation Manager at Hertz. Tammy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University, Northridge, and an Associate of Arts in Psychology from Los Angeles Valley College. Academic credentials also include attendance at College of the Desert and completion of the CHSPE with honors in Latin and English.
