Douglas Parsons is a Software Engineer at Vercel since August 2021 and has been serving as Lead Engineer at Shamaazi since January 2020. Previously, Douglas worked as a Data Engineer at The Data Shed from June 2018 to January 2020 and held the positions of Senior Developer and Software Engineer at Leidos from August 2016 to June 2018, focusing on development work for public sector contracts including projects for the NHS and Highways England. Prior experience includes serving as a Software Developer at Lockheed Martin in June 2016, where Douglas also interned in the summer of 2015. Douglas began a career in development with an internship at University of York Commercial Services in 2014. Douglas earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the University of York, completing studies in 2016.
