Sadat Hasan is a Microfluidics Scientist at VERAXA Biotech GmbH since March 2023, previously holding a role in Project Management for Hardware Development at CLADE from May 2021 to February 2023. Sadat completed doctoral research at Leipzig University, focusing on nano-to-picoliter droplet sorting using fluorescence lifetime in microfluidic chip systems. Earlier experience includes a role as a Research and Development Engineer at Spinplant GmbH and conducting a master thesis project at the Fraunhofer Institute for Microstructure of Materials and Systems. Additional experience involves electronic circuit design as a Research Assistant at the University of Dhaka and industrial safety work at Tip-Top Dienstleistungen GmbH. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from Leipzig University, an MEng in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from The Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg, an MS in Biomedical Physics and Technology, and a BS in Applied Physics and Electronic from the University of Dhaka.
