Bill Becker

Director, Customer Care at Verathon

Bill Becker has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Bill started out as an Army Officer in the US Army from 1989 to 1999. Following that, they worked as an Operations Manager at GE Medical Systems from an unspecified start date to 2002. Bill then served as an Assistant Professor at Marquette University from 2000 to 2002.

In 2002, they joined Philips Medical Systems as an Operations and Marketing Manager until 2005, after which they were promoted to Director of Operations and Marketing until 2008. Bill then moved to Microvision as the Director of Sales and Marketing Operations from 2008 to 2010.

From 2010 to 2012, Bill Becker worked at Intellectual Ventures, first as a Senior Manager of Licensing Sales Operations and then as the Director of Operations for Global Licensing. Bill then joined Microsoft in 2014 as the Director of Sales Excellence and Strategy, where they were responsible for Opportunity, Pipeline, and Forecast Management for Microsoft’s worldwide enterprise sales team until 2015.

After their time at Microsoft, they joined Verathon Inc. as the Director of US Commercial Operations from 2015 to 2017. Bill was then promoted to the position of Global Director of Commercial Operations, a role they held until 2020. Currently, they are serving as the Director of Customer Care, responsible for customer and sales support for the USA at Verathon Inc., a subsidiary of Roper Technologies, Inc. In this role, they are also in charge of global processes, systems, metrics, and employee engagement.

Throughout their career, Bill Becker has demonstrated expertise in various areas such as sales operations, marketing, strategy, and leadership. Bill has successfully implemented and managed CRM systems and has contributed to the development and improvement of processes and operations in different organizations.

Bill Becker attended Calvert Hall College High School from 1980 to 1984. After completing their high school education, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting at La Salle University from 1984 to 1988. Later, they furthered their education by obtaining a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Business Management from Oklahoma City University between 1996 and 1998.
