Boy Baukema is an experienced application security consultant currently serving as a Senior Principal Application Security Consultant at Veracode since January 2017. In this role, Boy focuses on training developers and security teams on application security best practices while providing code-level remediation advice on identified vulnerabilities. Boy has held multiple roles at Veracode, demonstrating expertise in engaging with various stakeholders from software developers to security executives. Prior to Veracode, Boy held several positions at Ibuildings from May 2003 to December 2016, including Software Specialist, Senior Software Engineer, and Software Engineer, where responsibilities included advising on software security, leading teams, and architecting solutions. Boy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, obtained in 2005.
