Chloe Aquart has a strong background in criminal justice and policy. Chloe most recently served as the Associate Director of Operations at the Vera Institute of Justice, starting in July 2022. Prior to that, they were the Director of Policy & Strategy at the Center for Justice and Human Dignity from October 2021 to March 2022. Chloe also held various roles at the Center for Court Innovation, including Director of People Centered Practices, Director of Community Technical Assistance, Senior Program Manager, and Director of Court Operations at BJI. Before their work in criminal justice organizations, Chloe Aquart was an Assistant District Attorney at the Kings County District Attorneys Office from February 2014 to September 2017. Chloe also served as a Graduate Recruiter at New York Law School - Office of Admissions in 2013.
Chloe Aquart's education history begins in 2001 when they attended Hofstra University for a year, studying accounting. In 2002, they transferred to Hunter College and completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, which they obtained in 2006. Chloe then pursued further education at Queens College from 2007 to 2008, earning a Master of Arts degree in Urban Studies/Affairs. Finally, they attended New York Law School from 2010 to 2013, where they obtained their Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree.
