Jawad Shafkat possesses extensive experience in total rewards management, currently serving as Rewards Manager at VEON since September 2017. Notable achievements include developing and implementing a Compensation and Benefits framework for the UAE regional office, collaborating with Legal and Finance teams on annual compensation disclosures, and assisting in strategic compensation planning for the Board's Remuneration & Governance Committee. Before VEON, Jawad held various roles at Jazz from October 2008 to August 2017, where responsibilities encompassed implementing variable pay controls, designing recognition frameworks, and overhauling performance management systems. Academic qualifications include an MBA in Finance from Hamdard University and a Bachelor's degree in Economics & Statistics from the University of the Punjab.
