Irene Shvakman is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the fintech and financial services sectors. As Chairman of the Board and Co-founder of Mokka since August 2016, Irene has played a crucial role in establishing the company as a leading provider of purchase finance solutions in the CEE region. Additionally, Irene serves on the Supervisory Board of VEON and as a member of the Board of Advisors for Harvard Business School. Previously, Irene held significant positions including Member of the Board of Directors at MTS Bank and Yandex.Money, and was a Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company, where leadership of the Financial Services practice was prominent. Educational credentials include an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BSc in Biochemistry from Brown University.
