Valentina Batas Jelicic is an experienced quality assurance leader with a strong background in pharmaceutical and biotechnological environments. Currently serving as Senior Director of QA Ops and Supplier Quality at Ventyx Biosciences, Valentina established a quality department and framework for GMP operations. Previous roles include Senior Quality Assurance Manager at Kite Pharma, where Valentina led the QA team for raw materials and developed strategies for centralized quality oversight. Valentina’s extensive experience spans key positions at Shire, Baxalta, Bimeda Inc, and the Institute of Meat Hygiene and Technology, focusing on quality management, method validation, and compliance with regulatory standards. Valentina holds a Master’s Degree in Biophysical Chemistry and a Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Chemistry from the University of Belgrade.
