Fivos Tsoukatos has a diverse work experience that spans various roles in the finance and investment industry. Fivos currently holds the position of Principal at VentureFriends, where they are involved in managing investments in startups such as Embla and Barte. Before this, Fivos worked as a Senior Associate and Associate at VentureFriends. Fivos has also served as an Investor & Board Observer at Embla and Harbor Lab, as well as an Investor at Barte, Strike, and Simpler. Prior to their venture capital career, Fivos gained experience as an Investment Banking Analyst at Credit Suisse, specializing in the Energy, Transport, and Infrastructure sectors. Fivos began their professional journey as an Analyst at MSEA CAPITAL and Arrow Shipbroking Group, where they focused on market research.

Fivos Tsoukatos holds a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Shipping, Trade, and Finance from Cass Business School, which they completed in 2016. Prior to that, they attended the National Technical University of Athens from 2007 to 2013, where they obtained a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering. Fivos also completed their high school education at the Hellenic American Educational Foundation Athens College - Psychico College from 2001 to 2007. Fivos also obtained a certification as an ISM internal auditor from DNV GL.
