Javier Gomez-Acebo has held various roles throughout their work experience. Javier began their career as an Affiliate Manager at bwin in 2008. From 2009 to 2012, they worked as a Consultant at Advisia Advisory Services, where they focused on commercial and strategic consulting for media, finance, and ICT companies. Javier then co-founded and served as CEO of Portzar, an online art marketplace, from 2013 to 2014. Following that, they worked as the COO of Clocked, a dating app, from 2015 to 2016. During this time, they also held the role of Marketing Director at Audaces Impact, a private equity fund focused on impact investing in developing countries, from 2015 to 2016. In 2016, they worked as a Digital Innovation Consultant at TicketingHub and later became the COO of Ventrata, a multi-channel ticketing SaaS solution, where they currently serve as the head of operations, responsible for optimizing and managing operations and processes.
Javier Gomez-Acebo received a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, completing their studies from 2002 to 2009. Alongside this, they also pursued a Bachelor's degree in Law from the same university during the same time period. Prior to their university education, Javier attended Runnymede College from 1992 to 1997, however, no specific degree or field of study was mentioned. In terms of additional certifications, Javier obtained the Technovation Head Judge certification from Technovation Challenge in April 2018.
