Brian DePratto has a diverse work experience in the field of economics and research. Brian is currently working as the Chief Economist at Venterra Realty since February 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Research and Market Analytics at Venterra Realty from September 2020 to January 2023.
Before joining Venterra Realty, Brian worked at TD as the Director of Economics from November 2019 to September 2020. Brian DePratto has a diverse education history. Brian obtained their Honours BA in Economics with a specialization in International Economics from the University of Waterloo, attending from 2002 to 2007. During the same period, they also earned a Diploma in East Asian Studies from the University of Waterloo - Renison College. In 2009, Brian pursued further education and obtained their MA in Economics from The University of British Columbia, completing the program in 2010. In 2013, they attended the Joint Vienna Institute and the Study Center Gerzensee to study Monetary and Fiscal Policy, although the specific field of study for these programs is not provided.
