Magdalena Szumlakowska, MBA, is an experienced project manager currently overseeing projects at Venn LocalZone since February 2021. Prior to this role, Magdalena served as Governance Project Manager at OS33, focusing on SOC2 audits, access and configuration reviews, and vendor due diligence from April 2018 to January 2021. Magdalena co-founded Hyperlocal Inc. and worked on beacons and location-based solutions between March 2017 and December 2019. Additionally, Magdalena held the position of North American Manager for Digital Banking and Online Community at BMO Financial Group from January 2015 to February 2017 and worked as a consultant specializing in custom and syndicated research at Euromonitor International from February 2012 to January 2015. Earlier experience includes a role as International Marketing Lead at BIR Training Center from November 2003 to December 2011. Magdalena holds an MBA in International Business, Market Research, and Analytics from DePaul Driehaus College of Business and a MA in Management from Wroclaw University of Economics and Business.
