Utsav Kanani is a seasoned engineering leader currently serving as the Director of Engineering at Velocity Global since September 2023. Previously, Utsav held the position of Director of Software Engineering at Anaplan, overseeing global engineering teams focused on data and machine learning platforms from September 2018 to October 2023. Utsav's prior experience includes roles at Salesforce as a Principal Software Engineer, where Utsav led efforts in distributed systems for services like Salesforce IoT Cloud and Health Cloud, and at VMware as a Senior Member of Technical Staff, focusing on automation testing frameworks. Utsav's career began as a Systems Engineer at Asankya, Inc., and included a role at Benchmark Solutions leading testing initiatives. Utsav is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence and holds advanced degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and a BSc in Electronics Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
