Jon Cheney's work experience begins in 2010 when they worked at Nu Skin Enterprises as a Lapis Executive. Jon then moved to Chegg Inc., where they held roles such as Senior Sales Director and Global Outreach and Prospecting Manager. In 2014, they became the Vice President of Business Development at English3.
In 2016, Cheney founded Treasure Canyon, an adventure company that later led to the creation of Seek Rewards. Jon also worked as the Founder, CEO, and Chairman of the Board at Ocavu, a company focusing on Web 3.0 technology. Additionally, they worked as the Piano Sales Manager at Summerhays Music Center and as the Founder of Jon Cheney Piano, where they composed and performed original music.
Cheney then became an Angel Investor at Cardagraph, a business process analytics company. Jon later founded Velocity Access, where they took on the role of CEO and Founder. Currently, they are working at Velocity Resort as the Chief Technology Officer and Chief Community Officer, assisting individuals in finding breakthroughs in their lives through mountain living and action sports.
Jon Cheney attended Alta High School from 2002 to 2004 and earned a High School Diploma. Following their high school graduation, they pursued higher education at Brigham Young University from 2008 to 2012. At the university, they focused on Chinese and Business, with a specific emphasis on Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies. In addition to their academic pursuits, Jon Cheney obtained a HAM Radio Technician certification in April 2001 from Sandy, UT.
